Two members of the LGL-TPE receive awards from the Fondation UJM

On November 28, 2023, the Fondation UJM honored two talented scientists from the LGL-TPE!

– Marion Turuani received the “Prix Excellence Jeunes docteurs”. Marion completed her thesis entitled “Solving nanoscale perturbations of U-Th-Pb isotopic systems in monazites from ultra-high-temperature contexts (Antarctica, Madagascar, India)” at the LGL-TPE laboratory under the supervision of A-M SEYDOUX-GUILLAUME and S. HARLEY (Edinburgh, Scotland). The thesis was also co-supervised by A. LAURENT (LGL-TPE) and S. REDDY (Curtin University, Perth, Australia).

– Anne-Magali Seydoux-Guillaume, in collaboration with artist Etienne Pageault, received the “Fond d’Amorçage Arts et Sciences” award for the “Sillages” project, presented by Aurélie Voltz, director of the MAMC (Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain de Saint-Etienne).
