Description of the research project/Description du thème de recherche :
Experimental geochemist with an initial background in experimental fossilization. I have studied mineral-organic matter interactions under Martian conditions, with a focus on clay minerals (smectites).
Now investigating BIF precursor phases by combining natural sample characterization with laboratory experiments.
