My research focuses on distinguishing between biotic and abiotic organic signatures in Archean rocks, aiming to improve our understanding of the development of life on Earth and other planets. Key objectives include the production of abiotic Archean organic hazes via cold plasma discharge experiments, and the study of their transformation during thermal maturation using advanced techniques such as Deep-UV Raman, FTIR, GC-MS, and STXM-XANES.
