Description of the research project/Description du thème de recherche :
Our project aims to reconstruct polar climate dynamics during the Early Jurassic, with a particular focus on the Toarcian hyperthermal event. The main goal is to determine how polar seawater temperatures changed throughout this major episode of environmental change, especially regarding seasonal variability, which remains largely unconstrained for polar regions under greenhouse climates.
