My research focuses on petrological processes at the subduction interface, particularly partial melting of the subducting slab and interaction of the resulting felsic melts with the mantle wedge. I investigate the associated lithological diversification and the behavior of zirconium and zircon, combining the study of natural samples, field observations, and high-pressure, high-temperature experiments.
Mes recherches portent sur les processus pétrologiques à l’interface de subduction, notamment la fusion partielle de la plaque plongeante et l’interaction des magmas felsiques produits avec le coin mantellique. J’étudie la diversification lithologique qui en résulte et le comportement du zirconium et des zircons au cours de ces processus, en combinant étude d’échantillons naturels, observations de terrain et expériences à haute pression et haute température.
