I am interested in global seismology, seismic imaging of the mantle and crust. I construct thermochemical models of the mantle through mineralogical/petrological modeling and inversion of seismic data.
I am currently investigating the field of fiber optic sensing for health monitoring of civil engineering structures, environmental seismology, archeological prospecting, and planetary exploration.
