Description des thèmes de recherche :
Hi there ! I am a geologist specializing in igneous and metamorphic petrology and petrochronology. My research focuses on the evolution of the Earth’s lithosphere, deep magmatic processes, climatic changes during the Precambrian but also the provenance of geological and archaeological materials in human societies. I am currently involved in three main research projects.
The OCEANIF Project reconstructs the isotopic and multi-element evolution of the Neoproterozoic seawater through the study of Banded Iron Formations, probing fluid inclusions and iron oxides (SIMS, and LA-ICP-MS, U–Pb dating).
The MAGMACLIM Project investigates the physicochemical architecture of oceanic, continental, and transitional lithosphere through the study of detrital zircons, with case studies in the Moroccan Anti-Atlas and the Araçuaí–Ribeira orogen in Brazil. It aims to explore the links between deep magmatism and major climatic fluctuations.
The MinoanSerp Project applies non-destructive methods to Minoan pottery from Malia, including pXRF, magnetic susceptibility, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, and image analysis. The objective is to determine the provenance of these artefacts and reconstruct ancient exchange networks in the Aegean region.
